The Power Within

by Daniel, The Double Healer Priest Of Church Lucifer

The Power From Within:

When most people think of magic, they see an outside source granting power to the user of that magic. They figure that the "god or patron" of the caster grants him what he asks. It's sort of like the magician has gained favor in the eyes of his benefactor and, therefore, gets to use this earned ability because he asked for it. That is not true, at least not totally.

A true spell caster knows that most of the power comes from his own will and technique. You can't exactly lift a cup with the favor of a god. It does require some help on your part to execute the task. The same is true with magic. You can have access to all the power that any man has ever had or ever will have, but unless you focus it, using your will and your own power, it is futile. The Children of The Black Rose know this, as they have learned their lessons well. That is why they study the Scrolls!

In fact, most of the time, the magician is on his own. Lucifer doesn't breed wimps. Unlike the Xtian demigod, Lucifer wants His own offspring to grow powerful, standing on their own two feet. He wants them to be a force to be reckoned with. This is not to say that He won't lend His strength to a task if asked. He will, but He would rather that you generated the power within yourself. You have the ability. Look, if you carry a little kid around all of the time, It will never grow strong legs and a healthy body.

There is a time when we are young in our magical endeavors when He will shadow us and help us just as a parent letting their little one hang on to one of their fingers. However as the young one gathers strength, the finger of God is slowly withdrawn, except on steep hills and over deep puddles. Then one day, the finger is no longer there, and the young ones must walk on their own.

This is a day of celebration, and every success is a jewel in the crown. This builds self confidence and power. But still, He is never far away if the load gets too heavy. But lo-and-behold, there is strength in numbers and as the matrix of brothers grow, two or more will join together in magical endeavors to turn the tide and achieve the established goals. This is what brotherhood is all about.

Therefore, we have learned that we must help one another. If a Child of the Black Rose or Kin Youth is in trouble, then his brethren will rise to the call and lend their strength to the task. We are very much different than the Xtians who rarely if ever help one another unless there is something in it for them... Why should they? They are taught the lessons of slavery in that only their master has the power to accomplish anything of worth. This is sad, as they do have power within, but it is stifled, and they have no way to control what they have. They are taught to take the power of someone else and draw off of it. In other words, Xtians are leeches. Psychic Vampires. They never create anything new, as to do so would draw complaint from their peers who can do nothing but complain. For example, look at the Sistine Chapel. The church had to hire an outside source to paint it. If they are so divine why did not a priest, one of their own, paint it? Do they not have enough divine influence to conjure up a painting on their own ceiling? Must they always seek an outsider to do their work?

The foundation of power within must be used mightily and built upon daily, gathering strength or it will die. Those who don't use their power may very well lose it. Know that if you do let it atrophy, gaining it back won't be all that easy. The longer you allow the chains of oppression hold you down and diminish your own abilities, the harder it will be for you to break free. One reason the Xtians are so worthless and wishy-washy is that they are always trained as slaves to give the credit to their demigod. After a while, they figure that everything has to be done by their benefactor, so they quit trying and die on the vine. There is no reward for effort. God forbid, should one compliment another on a job well done, then another will bitch and moan that the credit should go to their savior!

They are trained as a circus elephant in that they use a huge chain and spike to hold a small child back and break its spirit so that when it grows large they can use a small rope and spike to keep him enslaved. Such a trainee then, because of his conditioning, will still think that his cobweb leash is too strong for him to break. The reason is that the power within him, his natural will, has been murdered. So, I say unto you, "Cast off your chains, and use your will for your own magical purposes. Wizards Change Things! Let it be known that you think for your self and make your own decisions. Then sing the praises of being a Child of the Black Rose and never ever let your power ebb. Nay, grow strong in the shadow of Lucifer, and your inner strength will make both you and Him proud!
