Ah! Science marches on! Now the white coats have actually discovered that there really are right and left hand paths! Yes! The left temporal side of a person's brain is the side concerned with self, self realization, thinking and higher intelligence. In the left side dwells animal cunning, the go get 'em, do it up and tie a ribbon on it side of the brain which we need to survive successfully in both the physical and astral realms!
On the other hand, the right temporal side of our brain is what the heads call the "god" side, which when stimulated, returns an expansive feeling as though we are at one with the All and sitting on the lap of Lucifer eating ice cream cones. We call these experiences visions or the opening of the gate. While having a vision, we can see things, hear voices, travel, gain useful information and receive answers. We need right side awareness to achieve spiritual growth and to become as gods so we can survive on the astral. BTW, I don't capitalize "astral" as it is a general and non specific term. However, the High Astral is a specific term.
Anyway, as the left temporal side of our brain is the platform of our physical well being, the right temporal side of our brains is the seat of our astral self and our ability to astral travel. To accomplish that fete, we must develop our access to our temporal right side. Gaining access to our right side functions means that we must become aware of its potential and come to grips with it.
Being afraid of it or ignoring it will stunt our spiritual growth and prevent us from becoming as gods. Primitive cultures know this and right side awareness is built into their daily lives. That is why we say that modern man is less than he once was. Why? The Christian concept and teaching has closed the hole in his head, and he has become blind.
We can cure that! Our Rest of Light, just before bed and at time of waking, are times set aside for stroking the right side of our brains so we may receive visions and enter the astral where we may interact with our helpers. That is why we pay particular attention to what we can remember when we wake up, as we want to get the most value from our visions. Practicing our Rest of Light stimulates the right side of our brains and opens the gates to the astral so we may brush aside the veil and cross over into that greater place where we may grow spiritually and become as gods.
Hell, it's all hard-wired in. All you have to do is stimulate one side or the other, and it will sing like a bird. One British Doctor has experimented on over 500 subjects, applying a tad of electromagnetic energy to the temporal areas to see what would happen. He discovered that tweaking the left side temporal brain made people smarter, more capable and ultra aggressive, while tweaking the right side temporal brain made them have all sorts of visions.
People would swing one way or the other, depending upon which side of their brain was most stimulated. However, no external stimulus is needed as manifestations may be triggered within by either thinking, plotting or planning to stimulate the left side or meditating to stimulate the right. The more you do, the more you can do!
Thinking, plotting, planning and developing the strategy to get things done will strengthen the left side awareness, while meditating will open the gates to the manifestations of the right. Each condition has it's appropriate time and place, and neither should be neglected. Yes, we must be open to both in their appointed time and place. While awake we must concentrate upon what we are doing and problem solving, but we always keep our astral door open a crack and listen for any help that might come our way from the other side. Sometimes, that bit of help, or bright inspiration can make all the difference to our success in winning the game of life!
As individuals, some of us are more oriented to one side or the other, but what we seek is a relative balance, so we may become more complete individuals. Too much left side brain orientation, and we lose our humanity, too much right side orientation and we lose our individuality and interest in living. That is why the Scrolls contain teaching for both sides of our brains in addition to the maintenance of our physical bodies so that our whole self may develop properly into a balanced individual!
Consider, there are three major areas of our earthly situation. One is the mental, the left side, another is the spiritual, the right side, and holding it all together is our physical body, the power generator that feeds both. Sitting around daydreaming about the wonders of the universe is fine when nothing important is going on, but most of the time, we need to be up, on and about our Father's business! We need to be thinking, plotting, planning and making things happen! After all, we are the physical manifestation of Satan! Just look into the mirror and who do you see? You bet! You see Satan! Hail Satan!
However, we must seek balance to become complete and to develop properly. Yes, we must seek balance to win the game of life. Those who become overly left side oriented will fail in their pursuits, as they will raise the anger of those who cross their paths and make unnecessary enemies. Their road is too steep. Consider the outcome of Napoleon, Adolph Hitler, Joseph Stalin, Benito Mussolini, Chairman Mao, General George Patton and others, too many to count. Likewise, those who become fully right side oriented will also fail, as their will to change things more to their liking will diminish, and they will become as nothing, insignificant, as they melt into the ether, one with the All. Just try to remember one of their names. The astral is worthless unless you acquire the ability to change things! Hear it again: The astral is worthless unless you acquire the ability to change things! Wizards change things!
Now hear this: the thing that makes us Satanically successful is that we develop both sides of our nature. However, we also control them, putting both in their proper perspective and in their rightful place at the proper time. That is what separates gods from those who set in the dust of the Earth, never reaching for the stars.
